Last Day

at the Chinese Integrated Newsroom. It was an initial mix of excitement and resentment when I was posted to CIN. But looking back, it wasn't that bad. I got to take pics with celebrities (especially with Cheer Chen and Amei) and enjoyed cuisines (enough of abalones and shark fins to last a life) like there's no tomorrow. Of course, there's the not-so-popular KTV and advertorial assignments but they were manageable and tolerable.

So today marks the end of my tour at CIN before I head back to the not-so-glamourous 意外新闻 kind of assignments. It will be early mornings at the mortuary and late night shifts for me again. But I feel the rotation will do me good before my journalistic sense rusts or my head gets too big :)

What an experience it has been and I look forward to seeing my CIN colleagues again in maybe another year or two. Ciaos!
