Phantom!

Ahhhh... what fulfilment! Finally got to watch "The Phantom of the Opera" again after 10 years since it last came to Singapore... and it still mesmerizes me... it really is a World Class production...

I found out the pros and cons of sitting so close to the stage of a live performance. Exciting nevertheless to see the music box with the paper mache monkey... the chandelier... and the casts' face so upclose and personal. But any closer, we might have bring an umbrella... in case the the Phantom's saliva land on us! (Hahahaha...) Seriously though, we could still afford to sit a few rows back to get a wider view of the entire stage.

Here the ladies enjoying themselves with an imitation of the Phantom during the intermission.

Alma Mater

It was a really heartwarming occasion and an honour to be celebrating Yujun and Xiaoyun's wedding today. I can see their love for God and for each other...

The wedding was held at All Saints Church which is at Anglican High... my Alma Mater. The school has changed quite a fair bit and we had to think really hard where our classes were. We also spoke to Ms Wong, our geography teacher, and she had brought our juniors for some Girls' Brigade (thanks to Juan for correcting me) competition (they won 2nd I think).

It felt wonderful to revisit AHS again with my 2C pals. At least this time round, it's in the day and there's no police... hahaha...

This photo was taken with my Samsung handphone in sepia mode.

Not on form for...

1.5km swim and 10km run...

Pretty disappointed with my performance at the Singapore Biathlon today. I know I could do better if not for the fact that I was just recovering from flu... An excuse? I dunno... or not enough training? But I have been training almost every other day for the past 2 months or so... Or my expectations too high? Sigh...

Happy Birthday to Me...

...again. Hahaha...

Anyway, I met up with HQ and FJ when they dropped by 85 for dinner. We had an engaging conversation about how we should always look after our own interests before 'sacrificing' for other causes. We all felt that it is important to strike a work-life balance and we should not overlook time with friends and family, exercise, chilling out... (this is especially for YT... haha)
