Only Crazy People do this

Duathlon.

10km run. 36km cycle. 5km run.

It's just crazy. It can be accomplished but I always wonder what motivates people to actually do this kind of stuff. I supposed they just want to push themselves to the limit and to feel alive. But there are other ways to feel alive other than to torture yourself like this. See... now I have to use my iSqueez to relieve my aches...

And my calves and feet better recover before Tue. Otherwise how to climb the temples of Angkor Wat?

Spur of the Moment

I was feeling really down these few days due to something that happened at work. So, I decided to do something crazy, and at the spur of the moment too.

I am going to Siem Reap, Cambodia to join Juan and Keow on Tue. Bought the air tickets liao!

Hopefully, this breakaway will cheer me up and sort my feelings out. That is if the Duathlon on Sunday don't kill me first...

A Plus (+) in the Family

I've collected my new Colt Plus at Pandan Garden today!

Not bad... beginning to enjoy the ride (Xiaomin was simply ecstatic about it!). But still need to sort a few things out with the dealer. Firstly, he still owes me the chrome exhaust tail pipe (otherwise I feel it looks damn ugly). Secondly, the window visors for every door (for that extra shade). Should be getting all these installed during my first 1000km servicing in 2 weeks time. In the meanwhile, see what other 'modifications' I can install for that 'personal touch'.

Car wise, I noticed that the suspension is a bit stiff so the ride is kinda bumpy. But the tinted windows are really cool though... it added a mysterious feel to it. I like the colour of the meters on the dashboard too. And you've got to experience the 'fun' of the electric tailgate. In any case, now I need to re-orientate where to put all my accessories in the 'cockpit' i.e. my cards, sunglasses, CDs, wallet, handphone, tissue paper, etc etc etc... Also, need to accustom myself to the dimensions of the car for turning and parking. Otherwise, quite alright.

But still... NOTHING compares to my dream car.... the Mini Cooper... heh.

I Squeeze!

Just got myself an OSIM ISqueez this evening. I've always like it since I tried it last year but always couldn't bring myself to buy it due to the price. Finally, my aching legs couldn't take it anymore and persuaded me to go ahead.

Especially after the crazy Duathlon training on Tue and today, the massage is soooooo..... shiok man.....

Xiaomin got the UZap too.

The U.S and Thai Relationship

Sounds like a heading on politics hor...

But not so 'cheem' lah.

My brother had safely reached Maryland, U.S but he's tired from the air travel and he has to quickly settle himself there. I hope he doesn't have to sleep on the floor soon and he can acclimatise himself to the cold weather (-10 degrees!). Well, this will be the first weekend without my bro so myself and XM will definitely miss him. It's gonna be a long 6 mths before he comes back. I'll tell him to mail photos back in his next e-mail. It will be easier for my parents to have a better idea of how he's doing.

I entertained some Thai frens for the past three days and although it's tiring, I enjoyed the company and the chance to splurge on good food. We stayed at Pan Pacific, shopped at Orchard and Suntec City, and ate at Palm Beach Restaurant, One Fullerton (with fireworks), the famous Bak Ku Teh at Serangoon, Boon Tong Kee along Bukit Timah Rd and drank sake at a Japanese restaurant. Without paying a cent... hahaha...

Ahem. Anyway, so what's the U.S / Thai relationship all about? Simple.

Because I had to accompany my Thai frens, I missed the chance to send my brother off at the airport for his attachment in the U.S.

Connecting People

Nokia!

I just got a Nokia 6060 recently because I can't bring camera phones to work.

But I dun really mind cos I think this phone rocks! It's simple, instinctively user friendly, light and stylish.
(Nope. Nokia didn't pay me to advertise.)

Now I'm tempted to use just this fone and sell my N90. This can finance a new lens or the MB-D200.

Should I?
