Sounds like a heading on politics hor...
But not so 'cheem' lah.
My brother had safely reached Maryland, U.S but he's tired from the air travel and he has to quickly settle himself there. I hope he doesn't have to sleep on the floor soon and he can acclimatise himself to the cold weather (-10 degrees!). Well, this will be the first weekend without my bro so myself and XM will definitely miss him. It's gonna be a long 6 mths before he comes back. I'll tell him to mail photos back in his next e-mail. It will be easier for my parents to have a better idea of how he's doing.
I entertained some Thai frens for the past three days and although it's tiring, I enjoyed the company and the chance to splurge on good food. We stayed at Pan Pacific, shopped at Orchard and Suntec City, and ate at Palm Beach Restaurant, One Fullerton (with fireworks), the famous Bak Ku Teh at Serangoon, Boon Tong Kee along Bukit Timah Rd and drank sake at a Japanese restaurant. Without paying a cent... hahaha...
Ahem. Anyway, so what's the U.S / Thai relationship all about? Simple.
Because I had to accompany my Thai frens, I missed the chance to send my brother off at the airport for his attachment in the U.S.
