To be frank, I have never seen 歌台s before. I used to think they are too crappy, too rowdy and too full of religious flavour. But now, because of my work... I'm getting an overdose of it... haha... (maybe it's a payback of sort). And after I've gotten a taste of it, I'm starting to appreciate this unique culture in Singapore...
Kudos to Royston Tan too for "documenting" it on the big screen. I'll catch "881" soon.
Till then, it's another 歌台 assignment tonight...

mi been meaning to catch getai tis yr. thanx to 881 for bringing back tis childhood memory
used to haf getai within walking distance at bedok
now need to travel to watch. will ask u for 'where' to watch....haha
Then u just missed the one I took tonight! It had some of the best performances I've seen so far! And the 明珠姐妹 are such hilarious and entertaining pair!
